20 Free Hours

Every 3 and 4 year old attending our Preschool, can access the 20 government funded Early Childhood Education hours. This means that for a total of 20 hours your child’s attendance at this pre school is entirely without cost to you.
Once you have used all your allocation of 20 hours – extra sessions are charged at the rate of $5 per hour.

Food

Please provide one piece of fruit for your child’s morning tea and send a NAMED, easy to open drink bottle with water.
For lunch, please provide HEALTHY finger food options. We suggest simple foods such as sandwiches, muffins, crackers, yoghurts & fruit. Please ensure that your child’s lunchbox and any other food containers, are easy for them to open.

Clothing

Please dress your child in clothing that they are permitted to get messy in. We do provide aprons – but accidents do happen! Please NAME removable clothing. We expect the use of hats in the summer months. Please include spare
clothing in colder weather or if your child is still learning to use the toilet. Gumboots and extra warm gear is very appropriate in the winter.

Birthdays

We love to celebrate birthdays with your child. If you provide treats, we suggest one of the following options – cupcakes, marshmallows, balloons, pencils, stickers.

Some children have allergies and this precludes them from eating many of our treats so please be sensitive in your consideration of this.

Health

It is important to keep your child home if they are unwell. Please report any infectious diseases to the Head Teacher. If any health concerns arise, please report these so that teachers can be made aware.

Please remember that if your child attends 4 or more sessions, your parental assistance will be required more regularly than if your child only attends one day per week.
